You get 3 DVD’s, but no cube or gimmicks. But that is fine as it keeps the price down and Karl Hein’s routine which is terrific, uses regular speed cubes for the most part bar one phase does use a very special gimmick.
John George also teaches his routine which is very entertaining plus you also receive instructions on how to solve the cube.
In my opinion if you want to learn an entertaining multi-phase routine with basic skills using a regular cube this is the best option.

Cube 3 by Steven Brundage
Steven Brundage really popularised Rubiks Cube Magic and this is before the plethora of gimmicks and shells which now saturate the market. This is basically Steven’s routine that uses just an ordinary speed cube. In fact the his choice of cube is included. I’m not a fan of the USB stick as a medium for the content but what you get is brilliant.
A multi-phase routine, the toss solve and instant solve for example. Since there is no gimmick practice is required, but it isn’t as difficult as you’d imagine.
You also get a very clear explanation on how to solve the cube which was extremely useful when I was learning the routines.

Venom by Henry Harrius
This is a super clean, cube matching routine. The spectator or spectators mix the cube as much as they like, it matches another cube. This gets massive reactions and best of all the gimmick does all the work for you.
Almost as a bonus you get a few neat solves and a method of ending with both cubes solved.
The price is a little eye watering but what you get is impressive, so you can easily claim value for money. It is one of those rare effects which can be performed in most situations.

RD 360 by Henry Harrius
Gregory Wilson and Axel Hecklau both have versions of this, but Henry Harrius pretty much nailed the Rubik Cube shell with RD360.
The best features being the magnetic locking of the shell into place so it can be ‘handled’ by a spectator and also the top layer can be twisted. Genious!

The Solution by Michael Murray
Being consistently skint I followed my purchase of Cube3 with The Solution, avoiding the expensive gimmicks and I’m pleased I did because otherwise Venom would have stopped me speculating on another cube effect.
The Solution is different in that the spectator apparently solves the cube behind their back. The routine is such a great idea and it is simple to do, especially if you already have Cube3. As no cube or gimmick is included it is also an absolute bargain.
