Essential magician Carry-All
THE ESSENTIAL MAGICIAN CARRY-ALL
NOTE - This article is not for everyone as some readers will simply pass it over. No tricks, routines, or storylines just simply items that you want to have packed in your car at all times. These are items that you may never use and never remove from your car except on a few occasions but as a former Boy Scout I always follow the motto “Be Prepared”. Now some of the items may not pertain to everyone depending on the style of Magic that you do. As for myself I do Close-up, Adult Stage, and Kid Show so I need more of these everyday carry items. Remember the most important rule is to have these items in your auto at ALL times as they will do you no benefit if they are at home when you may need them. Please look over my list and add any suggestions that you may have. Also while this list looks very long most of the items will fit in one small case.
- • Flashlight
- • Folding Table (I use a 4 foot folding banquet-style table)
- • Assorted size & color table covers
- • Microphone stand with a universal Mic holder
- • Bungee cords
- • Roll of duct tape
- • Umbrella
- • Tarp (to cover up cases when raining during load-in)
- • Door stops (to keep doors open when loading in)
- • Pad of paper and pen
- • Business Cards
- • Sewing kit
- • Small First Aid kit
- • Disposable gloves (if you have to pump gas on the way to a gig)
- • Electrical power strip with multiple outlets
- • Electrical extension cord
- • Shoe shiner
- • Towel
- • Hand sanitizer
- • Deodorant
- • Cologne
- • Snacks and bottled water (packed on the day of the gig)
