Magic At The Bar by Chris Randall DVD Review

Right from the start Chris Randall alienates the viewer and offend his unfortunate volunteer, quite an achievement. The first thing out of his mouth is just horrific and I almost didn't get through the first effect. How bad this DVD is, is beyond words, it is completely devoid of any worth.

  • Moonshine - A very standard coin in bottle, all Chris has added is a highly offensive opening line
  • Coaster Card - The card under glass performed woefully and the explaination is just as worthless
  • 7 Digits - Worse than a waste of time, unless you want to be a slimeball
  • Vanishing Bottle - Chris manages to crush a Nielsen bottle, no originality but at least he doesn't mess it up
  • Martini - Witness how not to produce a bottle, just cringy and awlful
  • Champagne - A miser's dream with ice cubes is actually okay, spoilt by a clumsy bottle production that makes you want to hit him over the head with it
  • Desert Rose - It may be possible to get something from this effort. Chris presents it badly but in the hands of a semi-decent magician it could be nice

Do yourself a favour, avoid this like the plague.
