Excellence in Family Magic
I'm not a children's magician by any means I do like to think my magic would appeal to all ages. Scott Green has carved out a nice niche for himself billing his show for the whole family and he has been very successful at it. I have been surprised at how often I have picked this book up and read a chapter. The reason being it offers so much more than the title. It is a simple guide to making your magic and your show hundreds of times better.
The first three chapters cover creativity, practicality and the business side of the show. I don't know a performer who wouldn't benefit from reading these pages.
The rest of the book tends to focus more on the specific to routines a 'children's' entertainer may do and how Scott has developed them, but his process would well work with any effect you currently do.
An easy, highly informative read at a bargain price.
