Uncovered by John Luka
I'd previously enjoyed John Luka's book LINT, but had never heard of this belter. It isn't new and hot but it is a bit like Michael Ammar's Card Miracles, everything in is just a solid routine that is practical for walkaround. It is basically John's working reportoire, so it isn't a massive tome of differnt sandwich effects, rather a fairly slender collection of 17 tricks adequately described in 100 pages.
All the usual plots, Ambitous Card (featuring a new move to me), Card to Pocket and Coins through table feature which may sound disappointing but each one has been given a little touch and probably simplified. Take Licked at Last for example, an easy in the hands triumph which loses nothing of the impact of the original.
If you want straight forward, magic with an impact that is doable this is well worth considering.
