Whilst making copper/silver 10p/2p coins, I was curious as to how well a £2 would plate. It turns out that it plates beautifully and will a little polishing, we now have a great coin to do visual changes with for your favourite coin routine.
The plating will tarnish over time to look the same colour as an aged 2p or 1p coin.
